GNRC Europe’s goals are as follows:
• To foster respect for religious and cultural diversities and celebrate commonalities
• To encourage dialogue and collaboration among people of faith in responding to children’s issues in their own context
• To promote, in close contact with religious communities, the spiritual development of children through ethics
• To promote solidarity with children living under difficult situations with a specific focus on children’s rights

GNRC Fourth Forum Consultations
Consultation in Bosnia and Herzegovina were held on 18.2.2012 in Mostar. It was held from 11 AM till 7 PM in cooperation with organization „Our Kids“.
Our Kids is an association of citizens and friends of children without parental care and children with special needs. We are a non-governmental, non-political and not for profit organisation that does not discriminate by gender, ethnicity or religion. We act in the interest of children without parental care and children with problems with psycho-physical development. These are children who are unable to take care of themselves and exercise the rights they are entitled to under the Constitution and laws of Bosnia and Herzegovina as equal members of the community and for the purpose of their social functioning and integration into society. This organisation is currently running its own workshops at the Children’s Home – Mostar. Participants were twenty children aged 11-20 years, from three main religion group in B&H, muslim, chatolic and ortodox.
Facilitators were 7 young people from B&H GNRC Youth team: Jasmina Dizdarević, Aldina Dizdrević, Lejla Hasandedić, Edin Manjo, Kerim Somun, Aida Šahovič and Amela Zunić.
We had suport from three educators and coordinator of Our Kids organization.
Consultation were organized in the form of workshop and the main topic was poor governance. We use LTLT methodology.

Call for Applications - International Basic Training Course on Learning to Live Together Manual
The GNRC Europe, Arigatou International and United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) are offering an International Basic Training Course designed to help educators and young adults working with children and young people on how to use the Learning to Live Together Manual.
This course draws on experience gained in earlier testing workshops, and on the contributions of the professional experts involved. Call for Applications Deadline for submission of applications: 28 March 2011
The purpose of the Basic Training Course is to build the capacity of educators, young adults, facilitators, or whomever will be using the LTLT manual in their work with children and young people. Their role as facilitators of the LTLT manual training will ultimately contribute to achieving quality education for all children worldwide.

The GNRC Europe is a dynamic and flexible network of religions and people of faith working for the dignity and spiritual development of children. It provides a venue for information exchange as well as a variety of opportunities for people of faith to respond to the challenges they face in building a better world for children.
